I'm one person. No office, no account managers, no sales team to pay for. And there's no build fee, which means I only get paid if you stay - so the site has to actually earn its keep. That's the deal, and it's why the price is the price.

Is there a big upfront cost?
No. You pay £50 a month for the website. There’s no separate build fee. You only pay for your own domain (usually around £10–15 a year).
When does the first payment come out?
Once the site is live and you’re happy with it - not before. I design and build it first, you look at it, and nothing is charged until it’s actually up and working. If you decide against it at that point, you don’t take it and you don’t pay.
What happens if I cancel?
Tell me and it stops - no notice period, no exit fee. Your domain was always registered in your name, so that’s yours regardless. The site itself comes down: it's part of the plan rather than something you buy outright, and that's what keeps it at £50 a month instead of a few thousand up front. Anything you gave me - your photos, your logo - is still yours and you already have it. If you want to own the build outright, ask and I'll price it.
How is this different from the other £50-a-month website companies?
Mostly on three things. Term: a lot of them run 12 to 36 months minimum, this has none. Risk: they take the build fee or the first payment before you’ve seen anything, here you see the finished site first. And who you deal with: you get me, the person who built it, not a support queue.
How is this different from Wix or Squarespace?
Those give you a login and a blank page - you’re the designer, the copywriter and the person who has to finish it. Plenty of people pay for one of those for years and never launch. Here I do the designing, writing and building, and you still get the login for the easy stuff afterwards.
Who am I actually dealing with?
Me - Daniel. I’ve been doing web development for over ten years. There’s no account manager, no team you never meet, and no handover to someone junior once the job is won.
Do I need to be good with computers to edit it?
No. If you can use Facebook or send a photo from your phone, you can use this. You log in, click the bit you want to change, type over it, and hit save. I’ll walk you through it once when the site goes live, and if you get stuck you can just ask me.
What if I need changes later?
Most of the time you won’t need me. You get your own login, so text, prices, opening hours and photos are yours to change whenever you like - from your phone, in a couple of minutes. For anything bigger, like a new page or a layout change, tell me and I’ll sort it as part of the monthly plan.
Can I upload my own photos?
Yes - straight from your phone. Photos of finished jobs are the single best thing you can add to a website, so the sooner you’re in the habit of uploading them yourself, the better the site works.
I’ve already got a website. Can you replace or refresh it?
Yes. If it’s costing you enquiries or looks outdated, I can build you a clearer site on the same £50 per month plan and point your existing domain at it. Sometimes it’s quicker to rebuild than to repair, and I’ll tell you honestly which it is - either way the price is the same.
Do I need a logo or photos?
A logo helps if you have one - I don’t design logos as part of this plan. Photos from your real work are best; we can use stock where you’re short.
Who writes the words on the site?
I do. You tell me about the business; I turn that into clear copy aimed at getting enquiries.
Will I show up on Google?
Your site is built to be found when people nearby search for what you do. Ranking depends on competition in your area - but the whole point of the site is to put you in front of local customers.
I get work from word of mouth. Do I still need a website?
Word of mouth is gold. People still look you up online before they ring or book. No site - or a tired one - and they often pick someone who looks more professional.
Do you only work with certain industries?
The plan is for small local businesses across the UK. There are dedicated pages for common industries - if yours isn’t listed, get in touch anyway.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No long contract, no minimum term. Cancel when you want - just let me know.
How long until my site is live?
Usually about a week once I’ve got what I need from you (business details, photos if you have them, domain access).
